Thanks for the swift delivery of my L1. I can’t begin to describe how pleased i am with the L1. The machine oozes quality and the level and quality of
workmanship particularly inside the machine is first class.
I have 3 questions to ask if that’s alright? 1) do i need to use the water softener (Best Water filter) if i already live in a soft water area and if I do would it cause a problem?
2) Is the Loxeal no.4 silicone grease just for using on the piston seals and if so do I need to put some on my new machine right away, how much do you put on?
3) is there any difference in using a ridgeless filter basket over a ridged one or is it just the convenience of removing the basket? I’ve been trying to find a ridgeless single IMS filter but it’s proving difficult to find, both the B70 1T h26.5 & B70 1T h24.5 seem to be ridged.
Finally just to say that the biggest hurdle in buying the L1 was persuading my other half. Now that she has seen it she thinks it is beautiful!
