Matthias writes, after an extended period of radio silence: another wood treatment for wenge handles

I have removed Matt’s telehone number, but left the rest in as i have no problem helping with the google rankings of any LONDINIUM customer with a little backlink. Write in with a short lever espresso article or an espresso tip of interest & i’ll happily post it here

Hi Reiss,
just saw your blog post on oil wax. Over the years working with a lot of wood I was introduced to a product called Osmo Topoil. It’s food safe, safe for children’s toys, but above all it’s one of the most resistant, durable and easy to apply finishes I know of. There’s also a full declaration of ingredients available. Not saying the stuff you mentioned is bad (never tried it) but Topoil is more likely to be around places outside the UK…

cheers,
Matt

P.S. I have no connection to Osmo…
