Now that the chaos of product development and launching the LONDINIUM lever machines is largely disappearing from view in the rear view mirror it is time to turn our attention to improve things like the quality of the images and clips we have taken to date which have admittedly been poor – we have relied heavily on the generousity of satisified customers for most of the good images of the LONDINIUM I that are currently in circulation
With that in mind i have plans to liberate my wife’s carbon manfrotto tripod and join my iphone to it with the use of this mount –

These kind of products often dont seem to work as well in reality as they are described on paper, but i am hoping that a Manfrotto product will work reasonably well
Every time i have attempted to take images of extractions the lack of light on the shower screen has been a significant issue
I am hoping this onboard LED light will address that issue – its needs to give a bright, even light that isnt too cold
If you see some better images and clips of espresso extractions on the LONDINIUM I start to appear on this site you will know that it works
If it doesnt work the next step will be to use a reflective surface to bounce a strong external light source up onto the shower screen from below, but i really dont want to get dragged into heavy duty photography – it is extremely time consuming to deliver photographic excellence. this is not my objective – i just want to step up from the poor images & clips of extractions that we have offered to date
