On this occasion these two coffees have caught us out in ageing very quickly once opened, and to our taste at least became a bit sooty a few weeks after we had settled on the roast profile

This is why we like the time honoured jute/hessian bags ~ and they’re easier on the environment and they let the coffee breath and age progressively
