â ¦after all the coffee orders have been caught up on, we are going to try roasting the much written about in coffee history mocha-java blend
you could dismiss it as boring, but its new ground for us
I’m sure it earn its reputation as a filter coffee, but we are going to have a play and see how it works as an espresso blend
we’ve got the yemeni mocha, but the java blawan that we have been stocked out of for too long only arrived today
because they roast at vastly different temps we will have to roast separately, then blend post roast
will it taste any good as an espresso? I’ve no idea. I’m sure its been done before, but its all experimental for us – reploying an old classic but bringing our own roasting philosophy. that’s the best part of this job – discovering new tastes in espresso
