Finally! There’s been so many iterations of these I think I’ve lost count. I’m very pleased with the final result, although as with all things that relate to design I’m sure not everyone will like them. The handles are in Wenge, the same as the tamper handle. In particular I like the feel that these larger diameter grips provide, which is most noticeable on the steam and water controls
These wooden handles will be fitted as standard to all Luxe models, along with internal illumination, from today onwards
NB: you are looking at the prototype L1 luxe, which is why the corners of the side panels are not welded & mirror polished – they are on all production machines
