We’ve joined Periscope, by Twitter

if you have been with us for a while you will know that i am no salesman or marketeer – i do it through gritted teeth

that said, something i have been looking for quite a while is a solution that would allow me to broadcast video, and finally it is here; Periscope, by Twitter

ironically i am far more enthusiast about it than i am about Twitter itself

i have signed up and just been observing how other users are using it to get a feel for it

what i like about Periscope is it is clearly intended to be a raw, unedited medium – i think many of us have become tired of produced media and we are now in this slightly upside down world where raw, unedited amateur footage is more welcome than professionally produced media, at least in certain spheres

so i think this will work well for us as a small workshop business

we will try and keep them brief and crisp and i expect that not all of our Perisscope broadcasts will be about lever espresso, but also a little bit of what it is like down here in New Zealand

im guessing the data bill for the mobile phone is about to go up as a lot of time we wont be on wifi, but thats ok

have a good week.
