This blog post isn’t really about espresso, or indeed coffee, but I know a number of you have small businesses and run from buildings that suffer from very poor mobile phone coverage/signal strength, e.g. a metal roof. This Sure Signal device from Vodafone is our good news story of the week. It is plug and play straight out of the box and supports up to 24 (from memory) Voda-phones. For a one-off charge of just GBP50 it provides a far more cost effective solution than the technology it replaces whereby you had to put an aerial on the roof and feed a wire down to an internal repeater; no thanks.
I’m sure the other mobile providers offer something similar.
So here it is; from no signal whatsoever to a full 5 bars of 3G signal strength (albeit my phone in the image below has the wireless activated so the 3G icon has been usurped by the wireless icon).
