Using LONDINIUM I in 25C ambient and above – adding a restrictor

If you are fortunate enough to be running your LONDINIUM I in a climate where you are using your machine above 25C ambient (where the machine is located – not the outdoor temperature!) we will make the restrictor for the thermosiphon available, complete with support on how to install it which like most things in life isn’t difficult when someone shows you how

The reason for the restrictor is simple – as ambient temperature moves much above 30C you run out of boiler pressure to reduce as you end up with insufficient pressure to steam the milk

So if you are in southern Spain, or equivalent climate where it is warm in winter, hot in spring & autumn, and absolutely belting in summer the config for your LONDINIUM is simple; buy the restrictor for a few quid – I’m thinking GBP3, hook up with us on Skype to help you fit it (we will post a video when time permits), and set the pressure stat to between 1.0 & 1.1 and you’re good to go
