the tampers are being produced and i would hope that my manufacturer would receive them later this week. Â the slightly annoying aspect is the cost of producing the new design is going to be slightly higher as whilst the stainless is less expensive than brass this is more than off set by the stainless being harder to machine and secondly there is a lot more machining required for the cut back design i have gone for. Â dont worry, the price will not be increased for anyone who has an open order and probably not for a month or so as i am keen to get the new design out in the market as i am very much of the view that it is an improvement on the original
on the L1-P front the news is less cheerful as we have lost almost a week of production as a result of issues with the laser cutter. Â i have been told that these issues are now resolved, but it simply means that our cutting of chassis and panels for the L1-P did not occur last week. Â I have been assured that it will occur this week. Â we will build the first machine then go over it and check that everything is as we would wish, and then we will proceed and make a batch of 10 L1-Ps
