our current website is a steaming pile of you know what – if i was English I would probably just refer to it as ‘limited’, but there you go
anyway, in parallel with building physical stuff we are also scratching out the beginnings of a new, more able website
the current website looks ok and takes orders but i have long wanted to build a LONDINIUM espresso library – a place to come and read rich content on all aspects of espresso, which if you follow, you will be guaranteed to make exceptional espresso, even if you are on the other side of the world
its something I’ve wanted to do since day 1, but hopefully the technology has moved on a bit so this will be easier (read less expensive) to execute now
so by the end of this year you can expect the online support for anything you buy from LONDINIUM to be vastly richer than it currently is
i also plan to set it up a customer forum, so customers can post content and answers to any issues or tricks they are up to. this closed forum will allow read access to the world however, so if you are considering a product we sell you can get a pretty good idea of what the current owners think of it before you part with your hard earned cash. it will also give you first class after sales support as it will mean i only have to provide answer to frequently asked questions once. obviously part of the challenge will be to get all the content effectively catalogued, just like a library, so you can actually find the stuff. we’ll do our best to keep the ‘fiction’ section as small as possible 😉
