We originally had full multi-currency functionality in place, but have subsequently removed this as we want to keep it clear that we are selling in pounds sterling (GBP). Instead we have added a currency converter in many convenient places around the site so you can quickly convert the GBP amount into your local currency
The new website also allows you to obtain a shipping cost estimate before you embark on purchasing the goods in your shopping cart
We have also added the ability for you to add your thoughts on every product we sell so we can respond in a timely manner to any weaknesses in our offerings
We have added a forum for product owners which will improve the after sales support and build a community for LONDINIUM espresso machine owners in particular and allow you to identify other owners that live in your region
There is a pile of other good stuff too, but this gives you an idea of why we are so keen to make the transition
We also intend to offer 4, 6, and 12 bag monthly espresso subscriptions from this new platform
It won’t be too pretty on day one, the pro-shot images of machines, etc, will come in time, but it is critical to make the transition and capture the benefits that this new site brings to your customer experience
