I have tried a LM tip that is currently on sale and have discovered that this information is no longer correct, so I owe some of you an apology
Old LM threads match, but while the current range are the same diameter the pitch of the thread has changed slightly
Unfortunately I don’t know when this change in the pitch of the thread occurred
The good news is as of this week we have the ability to make our own foam blades & whatever other specialist tips you want made as a brand new multi spindle CNC lathe has just arrived in Birmingham, which I saw this morning for the first time
Tampers – we decided to forget about these until the new year – everyone has given 100% to get this far and its time for a well earned break
LII & LIII – expect a family likeness to the LI in terms of styling. Exactly how it goes depends on the prices we get back for some ideas we are playing around with, but the specs are as we state on the website. Spring-wise we are going to fit single springs as standard and offer the option to have a twin spring on a group by group basis. For example, our LIII demonstration machine will have 2 single spring groups as one twin spring group so you can evaluate which configuration you prefer. The difference between the 2 is much less than you might expect – dynamic pressure is more or less the same unless you are into plus 20g dosing, and even then it falls off quickly
The second batch of standard machines are ready to ship tomorrow. I have high hopes that shipping direct from the factory will be a great improvement. I will still be booking each consignment personally, and we will still be able to track
I’ve also brought back a box of 4 x 1.0mm diameter hole tips which i think are a nice compromise for intermediate use – the twin hole tip is very much for building your confidence with, but you can feel yourself growing old as you wait for the milk texturing to complete
