Shipstation has added an MID field

as such you could view this piece of news as a piece of back office drudgery and wonder why i am posting it publicly, which it is. however it is a key piece of the puzzle in improving your customer experience. we have been bemoaning the fact for years now that US Customs typically require the manufacturer’s name and address, yet there was no field in the Shipstation platform to enter this information

that meant the goods would often arrive in the States and then the carrier would contact the customer asking them to provide this information and the customer then contacts us and we look like muppets because it seems like we cant fill out a form carefully, and it adds a couple of days of delay when working across time zones and just general email tennis that was entirely unnecessary

so effective immediately we now have the ability to provide this information when we book your order out and this should greatly improve your LONDINIUM customer experience if you live in the US
