7 more machines well advanced on build & should ship this coming week
another 10 machines commenced build today
very nice (easy to use & accurate) water hardness test kits have finally arrived
complete seal kits have arrived for LONDINIUM I (all seals, including water & steam taps, and shower screen)
we’ve also got left & right sides for the Standard, top (plumbed & tank), and back panels in stock now if you damage one
a new shipment of bottomless PFs will be with us on tuesday – i know many of you are waiting for these
new packaging for LONDINIUM I has been something of a silver bullet which is a huge achievement for us, but one you probably won’t even notice as it is the elimination of a negative rather than the addition of a positive
going forward we are going to build the machines with a circlip on the anti-vac valve so any residual water in the boiler from testing cannot escape when the machine is inevitably turned upside down at some point during transit. the downside is you will need to unscrew the top panel of your machine before plugging it in and remove this circlip from the anti-vac valve. with the benefit of hindsight, perhaps it is easy think this should have been fitted on day 1 – we considered it & dismissed it as we thought the inconvenience of a bit of water splashed around inside the box would be less of an inconvenience than asking people to lift the lid and remove the circlip. experience has shown I made the wrong decision on this point, but it will be sweet now
