Yesterday (Monday 30 January) i contacted the manufacturer and they confirmed that all the batch has been completed and is off the production line
It was agreed that that rather than me sit up all night waiting to be told which machines were packed and ready to ship that an email would be sent to me at close of business monday that would detail which machines were ready to despatch and that i could book these out overnight (UK time), Tuesday in New Zealand
Below is the email i awoke to this morning:
Hi Reiss
Unfortunately there are none for tonight as originally thought. We’re waiting on some tops back from the polishers but once we have them we’ll have quite a few ready to despatch together. I’ll have an update in the morning.
Kind regards,
So you now have all the information i have. I can see how this came about as we have had to move the cut out in the top panel from where it was on the L1 and it is the easiest thing in the world to look at stock lists and see; yes, we have top panels in stock, we’re good to go. Sure, it is an oversight, but these are the kind of issues that always arise on the first run. Some people have contacted me saying they thought we kept machines in stock on the shelf, and that is absolutely true, but unfortunately it is a rule that has to be violated when making a model change.
The metal polishers are local to the manufacturer so it is quite possible that the polished panels may be delivered to the manufacturer this morning (tues 31 jan)
I will be in contact with the manufacturer again at 22:30 new zealand summer time/09:30 UTC
Any machines that will be ready to despatch by the end of today i will book out on DHL
The moment i book your machine out on DHL you will receive an email, so check your junk mail folder if you read hear that i have booked machines out, or contact me if you prefer
You will also receive an email from our systems confirming that we have despatched your order
kind regards
reiss.
