As we are using a thermosiphon group it will not be bolted directly to the boiler. An insulating disk sits between the group mounting plate on the boiler and the group to ensure the group does not over-heat. I stated, incorrectly, in an earlier post that it would be bolted directly to the boiler. What I was trying to convey is it will not have a long throat between the boiler and the group, as some lever machines do. This long throat is the cause of the cooling of the group to around 82C when idle, needing two double shots to get it back up to operating temperature. Londinium I will not suffer from this issue. If we were using the dipper version of this group we would bolt it directly to the boiler.
