LONDINIUM I: plumb in kit – what does it do?

This would be one of the most frequently asked questions, so we have clearly done a poor job communicating this

The plumb in kit can be deployed in two ways

1. Leave the pump and switching exactly as it is and simply switch the feed pipe so instead of the pump drawing from the tank it draws from your plumbed water supply. Take this approach if your static water pressure is less than 1.5 bar. For example, if you live in a rural area and your water comes from a rainwater water tank in your garden. Another scenario could be if you lived on the top floor of a multi-storied building which could suffer from low water pressure

2. Alternatively you can plumb in on the outlet side of the pump. If you choose this option you will disconnect the pump so it doesn’t actuate. If you wish you can even remove the pump and tank entirely. This will give you the silent run experience that lever machines are all about

We failed to include instructions on how to do this in the owner’s manual with the first batch. We are working hard to include this in the owners manual for the second batch of machines and it will of course be available as a PDF to any existing owners that would like a copy
