i pledge to put some effort into posting more videos of using the L1 this year

since launch it has pretty chaotic, but it is settling down now

this means i hope to turn my focus back to roasting as the machines reach a steady state

it also means that i hve no excuse for not making an effort and taking some how to videos of the L1, L2, L3, and using Compak grinders like the K3ta, E6, E8, E10, and R120 all of which will have in the workshop within a month or so

as always i think most home baristas suffer from simply not making enough coffee

if you want to get better treat yourself to 2 Kg of coffee beans and set aside an afternoon and just work your way through the entire 2 kilos

i guarantee that you will improve your espresso making abilities by a much greater amount than if you had spent the same amount of time just reading about it on a forum.  indeed i think reading about how its done, rathering than just doing it, is a developing trend of our times and only produces a bunch of people who can ‘talk a good game’ as the english say, but if you stick them in front of a machine and ask them to make you a coffee the results are woeful

if i could ask you to do just one thing in 2015 it would be that you use your LONDINIUM lever machine twice as much as you currently do – it wont break!  its is engineered to give a lifetime of service.  please, just use it.  lots

i also have quite a lot of development to do on the website with kelsey so people can order coffee online again.  its  bit of a project with lots of moving pieces that are not outwardly visible and we have both been too busy with other stuff in 2014, so we will be making a real effort to clean this up in the next couple of months
