Eureka Mignon doserless espresso grinder

Very impressed with the Eureka grinder. It is very quiet and smooth and the adjustments for the grind and timer are a pleasure to use as you don’t have to twist them very far to effect a significant amount of change. The grind quality is very good, and whilst we haven’t yet run hundreds of back to back shots against the Mazzer mini electronic I have no hesitation in saying the drop in taste isnt like walking off a cliff. I don’t doubt we will come to appreciate a difference in time, but it certainly isn’t night and day. Off course the Mazzer is built like a tank and it will most likely out-live anyone who buys one, but we are proud to be selling the Eureka doserless as it brings a great espresso grinder within the reach of a lot more people.

Personally we love the art deco look of the Eureka and consider it to be the best looking espresso grinder on the market. The knurled solid aluminium knob that adjusts the coarseness of the grind is a thing of beauty to behold and the tactile sense it imparts makes it even more of a pleasure to use; a sense of industrial sturdiness that is near extinct in the consumer grade junk that is so prevalent in our times.

We have no reservations in offering this exceptional espresso grinder at what we think is a very reasonable price for the grind quality that it offers. The key fact for any grinder is the speed at which it turns, slower being better. The Eureka mignon turns at just 1350rpm which is exceptional for this class of flat burr grinder.
