One question that we’ve been asked more than once about the LONDINIUM I is energy consumption
Well today we bought one of these gizmos; a plug in power monitor:
We have a 236V supply at the time the image was taken
When the element is on the LONDINIUM I draws 12.15 amps of current (2850W element)
And thats a lousy image, but the display shows 2823W of energy being consumed when the element is on
When the element is not on LONDINIUM I draws 1.8W of energy
And the least surprising image of the lot, confirming that we have a 50Hz supply
