Dear Reiss

Thanks for all the help you’ve given someone new to making their own espresso.

I grew up around Ann Arbor Michigan , a place with a long tradition of coffee and espresso and became a fan of really good cappuccino as a teenager. My trips to France and Italy only confirmed the joy of a really good espresso or cappuccino make just right. Though I moved to rural Kentucky to work I’ve been lucky to have a small town that escaped the Starbucks plague and has had independent coffee houses the last 30 years. Unfortunately the last one that knew how to make a good espresso/cappuccino closed a year ago. I decided then I was going to have to be able to make decent cappuccino at home and began researching. I settled on buying a Londinium I and now that I’ve got it set up I’m slowly learning how to get decent espresso beans, grind, tamp, and pull a good shot. i’ve still got along way to go but I’m finally making cappuccino’s better than I can get in any of the coffee shops in a 100 mile radius. I still need to figure out how to get good espresso beans freshly roasted at an affordable price( shipping is more expensive than the beans), and I’m reseaching which grinder to buy. I’m also getting better at foaming milk but its going to take a while to get it perfect.

But I wanted to let you know I had the best cappuccino I’ve had in 6months and I’m totally delighted with my choice of machines.

thanks again
